Resolution on PTLs 2012

Whereas, a substantial fraction of classroom instruction is provided by Part-Time Lecturers, and

Whereas the quality of our academic programs is directly related to the quality and skills of those providing classroom instruction, and

Whereas the quality and skills of our instructional staff are directly related to their compensation and conditions of employment,

Therefore be it resolved that the New Brunswick Faculty Council urges that the administration make identification and allocation of the resources necessary to provide appropriate compensation and conditions of employment for our Part-Time Lecturers a high priority.
