Resolution on Winter Session Pilot Program

Be it resolved that the New Brunswick Faculty Council supports the continuance of a pilot program for winter session for the additional two years proposed by Dr. R. Caprio with the following additional recommendations:

• That the evaluation practices used in the initial pilot version of the winter session project be maintained for the additional two years of the pilot project.
• That courses offered in winter session be specifically approved for offering in the Winter Session by the appropriate curriculum review committees
• That the recommendations made by Dr. Caprio in his report on the first winter session be supported.

None of these recommendations should be interpreted as allaying the Council's continuing concern for the lack of full faculty consultation in initiating the winter session program.
